A · General (applies to everything)

1. Who you buy from. Every service and product on julianbarthel.com is sold by Barthel Performance AB ("we", "Julian").

2. Accepting these terms. Your sign-up email and every payment request link to these terms and name their version. You accept them by paying your deposit, by card, bank transfer or any other method offered at checkout. If you pay by card, you also tick "I agree to the Terms" at checkout. The version you accepted applies to your booking. Later versions never change an existing booking.

3. Prices. Prices are in EUR and include VAT where VAT applies. The price you booked at is locked.

4. What the fee covers. Coaching fees cover coaching, briefings, video debriefs and the group chat. They do not cover tunnel time, jumps, accommodation, travel, meals, gear or insurance, unless the offering says otherwise.

5. Third-party costs. Tunnel time, beds, jump tickets and gear hire are sold by the venue, which bills you directly under its own terms. We are not party to that contract.

6. Fitness and insurance. You confirm that you are fit to take part and that you meet the venue's requirements. You sign the venue's waiver and hold your own accident, health and travel insurance. Tell us before the start about anything that affects your safety.

7. Conduct. Briefings are mandatory. No alcohol or drugs before or during sessions. Julian may stop you from flying or jumping if safety requires it. Sessions missed through lateness or exclusion for safety are not refunded.

8. Under 18s. A parent or legal guardian books, accepts these terms and signs the venue's waiver for anyone under 18. Skydiving and canopy courses are open to under-18s only where the law of the country where the course takes place allows skydiving at their age. They must also meet the dropzone's minimum age. We may ask for proof of age.

9. Photos and video. We may use photos and video from sessions in our marketing. You can opt out at any time by email. We then stop new use and remove existing posts where practical.

10. Our liability. Air sports carry inherent risk. We are not liable for those risks, or for the venue's equipment, staff or operations. For anything else, our liability is capped at the fee you paid for that booking. We are never liable for indirect loss such as travel, accommodation or lost earnings. The cap does not apply to injury caused by our negligence, or to gross negligence or intent.

11. Things outside our control. Dropzones and tunnels are not our facilities. We can't refund for weather, aircraft, dropzone or tunnel operations, or your travel disruption. When they happen, Julian will offer what adds value (theory, video review, Q&A, seminars) and look for a fair compromise.

12. Right of withdrawal. Camps and courses are leisure services on fixed dates. The 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales therefore does not apply to them. Digital products: see section E.

13. Complaints and disputes. Contact Julian first. We answer within 14 days. EU consumers can take an unresolved dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN, arn.se). Swedish law applies. This does not remove any protection your own country's consumer law gives you. Otherwise disputes go to the Swedish courts.

B · Tunnel camps

14. Deposit. A deposit of 50% of your coaching fee secures your place. Nothing is confirmed without it. Until your deposit is paid, your booking is only a request: it lapses after 7 days, or after 48 hours if the camp starts within 21 days, and your place and bed are then released.

14a. Extra hours. The standard tunnel camp is 5 coaching hours. If you book more than 5 hours, the extra hours depend on the tunnel's availability on your camp days. We confirm them with the tunnel and reply within two days. If the tunnel cannot give all the hours you booked, we refund the coaching fee for the hours we cannot give, within 14 days, to the payment method you used. Your place for the standard hours is not affected.

15. Balance and payment methods. The other 50% is due 21 days before the camp starts. You can also pay in full at booking. Instalment or pay-later options shown at checkout (for example Klarna) are provided by the payment provider under its own terms. Our cancellation terms apply to your full coaching fee, whatever payment method you used and however many instalments you have paid. If the balance is still unpaid after a reminder, we release your place to others and treat it as a cancellation under clause 16.

16. If you cancel.

  • More than 30 days before the start: full refund minus a €100 admin fee.
  • 15–30 days before: we keep the deposit and refund any balance paid.
  • 14 days or less, or no-show: no refund. You may move your booked tunnel time to another date, subject to the venue's 25% fee; your coaching fee moves with it.
  • If a replacement takes your place and pays in full, you get a refund minus an admin fee of 10% of your coaching fee (minimum €100).

17. Move instead of cancel. You may move once, to another camp within 6 months, if it has space. You choose the new camp when you move.

  • More than 30 days before: free.
  • 15–30 days before: your deposit moves as credit to the new camp, minus a €100 move fee.
  • 14 days or less: clause 16 applies.
  • A second move counts as a cancellation under clause 16.

18. If we or the venue cancel the camp. You choose: a full refund of the coaching fees you paid, or a free move to another date. Your booking is held until you choose. Travel and accommodation you booked yourself are not reimbursed.

19. Tunnel downtime during a camp. Lost tunnel time is rescheduled, not refunded. You pick new dates for the lost coaching time within 6 months, and the venue doesn't charge for hours it didn't provide.

20. Practical. You need a profile with the venue for check-in and billing. Arrive at least 1 hour before your first session and 30 minutes before later ones.

C · Skydiving and canopy courses

21. Money. Deposit, balance, cancellation and move rules are the same as clauses 14–18, unless the course page states otherwise.

22. Requirements. You hold a valid licence, membership and gear (reserve in date) as the dropzone requires, or you hire gear there.

23. Weather and aircraft. Jump time lost to weather or aircraft problems is not refunded (clause 11). Julian runs ground training, video debriefs and seminars instead.

D · Public speaking

24. Signed quote governs. Talks, keynotes and workshops are booked by a signed quote or agreement. That document governs; these terms fill any gaps. Travel and accommodation are billed as stated in the quote.

E · Digital products

25. Immediate access. At checkout you ask for immediate access and confirm that you then lose your 14-day right of withdrawal. After access is granted there is no refund, unless the product is faulty.

26. Licence. You get a personal, non-transferable licence. Sharing, reselling or re-publishing is not allowed. Access lasts for the period stated on the product page.
